Refund & Cancellation Policy

If you encounter any verifiable technical failure generating, previewing, or downloading your Will PDF after completing payment, or in the event of an accidental duplicate transaction, you are entitled to a 100% full refund of your ₹299 fee.

Time Window: Eligible technical or duplicate payment claims must be initiated within seven (7) calendar days from the transaction timestamp.

SmartWill India provides automated, customized digital legal documents that are generated and delivered immediately upon payment authorization. In accordance with e-commerce standards for irreversible digital downloads:

• Post-Download Finality: Due to the intangible and irreversible nature of digital legal document files, once a finalized Will PDF has been successfully generated and unlocked or downloaded to your device (as confirmed by our server audit verification logs), the service is deemed fully delivered and the purchase is strictly non-refundable.
• Change of Mind: Refunds are not granted for change of mind, personal dispute between heirs, or user-side typographical mistakes (which users review and confirm in the step-by-step summary prior to payment).
• Server Delivery Audit: All download requests are authenticated and logged with server-side audit timestamps. In the event of a dispute, these delivery logs serve as definitive proof of fulfillment.

All approved refunds (for technical failure or duplicate billing) are initiated directly through our payment partner, Cashfree Payments, and credited back to your original source of payment:

• UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm): Reversal typically reflects within 24 to 48 hours.
• NetBanking / IMPS: Reversal reflects within 2 to 4 business days depending on your bank.
• Debit & Credit Cards: Reversal reflects within 5 to 7 business banking days as per standard RBI clearing cycles.
